Failure of the board, failure of the spreadsheet, failure of the "plan", so who will be the first amongst many to hold up their hands and say "I'm to blame"?
In a way I'm sorry for Schopp, he was doomed to fail.
The ones I blame are those who run the club, the owners and the Crynes. The instability at BFC is worrying and very upsetting.
Get this shambles sorted or go away and never come back. My club is in tatters.

Yes we are a shambles on and off the field. The farce of the West Stand is typical of this onrunning saga at Oakwell or should it be Grove Street.....what a bunch of clowns.

Failure of their pockets is more important ! He needs to go the players aren’t buying into him , the only ones who seem to be trying are the ones not good enough imo

Why was Schopp doomed to fail ? Even though he's done it with aplomb he was only ever a couple of wins from stopping the pressure from building but 1 win from 13 would fail anyone.

Ismael was a success, so was Stendel, so was Struber. Unfortunately it’s swings & roundabouts, they need to admit they got this one wrong & put it right!

Isn’t the sacking of any manager usually a failing of all clubs?

I think barring one or 2, most would support the owners in sacking this bloke

Yes but it means that the same people will be following the same path to employ the same kind of coach.
It's like having a session with a revolving door.

Exactly. The chances of getting 4 good/'successful' managers in a row are pretty slim. There's clearly other mitigating factors with other staff leaving and injuries too. I'm a bit surprised they didn't promote from within and try to keep the same style of play given its success.

It's OK not to like the owners, I'm not so keen on who they are and never have been, but you can't deny the previous appointments were good ones except Morais. Eventually you're going to pick someone who isn't successful. Law of averages.

I could be wrong on this… but I vaguely recall somewhere it being mentioned that Schopp was recruited outside of the data driven system that James Cryne put together.

Maybe that's the case, I don't know, but plenty of folk were critical of the spreadsheet system too. Folk believe whatever suits them at the time.

My issue with the pure data approach (for players) is the rigidity of criteria which we seemed to move away from a little in the last 18 months, only for them to return now Murphy has gone.

Sadly we allow the good ones to leave, we don't have the spunk to encourage them to stay.
    Twas ever thus at BFC.

How many clubs in the history of football have successfully made/encouraged managers stay? We just can't compete if they want to go elsewhere.
